This article alleges Christian corruption,
terrorism, coercion and violence. Let's define the terms of this
accusation first.

Is "Christianity" Christ's Way? Let's define
our terms.

Merriam-Webster "Webster's New Collegiate
Dictionary" defines Christianity and the Christian religion as "A
personal set or institutionalized system of religious beliefs and
practices . . .  derived from Jesus Christ, based on the Bible as
Sacred Scripture. . . ."

Anyone familiar with the Roman Catholic or the
Eastern Orthodox or the national Protestant churhes knows that system
of institutionalized religious beliefs and practices is more derived
from people than from Jesus Christ, and often not based on the Bible as
Sacred Scripture.  There is nothing in the Bible about a system of
popes, arch-bishops,  priests, nuns, large and expensive temples
or cathedrals, standardized church services, standardized church
organization, church membership requirements, a national or
international physical/social organization and/or hierarchy, or a
church security force.  These are all man made derived from
cultures and from inappropriate and misinterpreted Scriptures in the
Bible. What does Jesus say about such a man made system of
institutionalized religious beliefs and practices allegedly derived
from Jesus Christ, and supposedly based on the Bible as Sacred
Scripture?
***Mark 7: 6 [Jesus] answer was: "It was well
said by Isaiah when he prophesied about you hypocrites in the
words--'This is a people that honor me with their lips, while their
hearts are far removed from me; 7 But vainly do they worship me, for
they teach merely the precepts of men.' 8 You neglect God's
commandments and hold to the traditions of men. 9 Wisely do you set
aside God's commandments," he exclaimed, "to keep your own traditions!
. . . 13 In this way you nullify the words of God by your traditions,
which you hand down; and you do many similar things."

Did you get that? Jesus Himself says that the
man made system of institutionalized religious beliefs and practices
allegedly derived from Jesus Christ, and supposedly based on the Bible
as Sacred Scripture is vain worship, neglect of the commandments of
God, and nullification of the words of God. Clearly Jesus did not
institute or originate "Christianity", the man made systems of
institutionalized religious beliefs and practices allegedly derived
from Jesus Christ, and supposedly based on the Bible as Sacred
Scripture. Is anyone surprised that people would corrupt, distort and
misrepresent Christ and the Bible in order to advance their own selfish
and evil purposes?

What is Christ's Way? Does it institute or
support corruption, terrorism, coercion and violence?

1.) Consider what Jesus says about how His
followers should act towards their enemies - violent Hindus, Moslems,
Communists -  and the corruption, terror, violence and coercion or
their enemies:
******Luke 6: 27* ¶ But to you who hear I
say--Love your enemies, show kindness to those who hate you, 28* Bless
those who curse you, pray for those who insult you. 29* When a man
gives one of you a blow on the cheek, offer the other cheek as well;
and, when any one takes away your cloak, do not keep back your coat
either. 30 Give to every one who asks of you; and, when any one takes
away what is yours, do not demand its return. 31 Do to others as you
wish them to do to you. 32 If you love only those who love you, what
thanks will be due to you? Why, even the outcast love those who love
them! 33 For, if you show kindness only to those who show kindness to
you, what thanks will be due to you? Even the outcast do that! 34 If
you lend only to those from whom you expect to get something, what
thanks will be due to you? Even the outcast lend to the outcast in the
hope of getting as much in return! 35* But love your enemies, and show
them kindness, and lend to them, never despairing. Then your reward
shall be great, and you shall be Sons of the Most High, for he is kind
to the thankless and the bad. 36* Learn to be merciful--even as your
Father is merciful. TCNT
******Rom 12:16 Have the same respect one for
another, not minding high things, but going along with the lowly: be
not wise in your own eyes: 17 recompensing to no one evil for evil:
providing things honest before all men: 18 if possible, as far as
depends on you, living in peace with all men; 19* not avenging
yourselves, beloved, but give place to wrath; for it is written,
Vengeance belongs to me, *I* will recompense, saith the Lord. 20 If
therefore thine enemy should hunger, feed him; if he should thirst,
give him drink; for, so doing, thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his
head. 21* Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. TCNT
Jesus clearly told His followers to do no
corruption, terrorizing, coercing and violence toward friend or foe.
Those who corrupt, terrorize, coerce and do violence in the name of
Christ know neither the true Christ nor His true Word.

2.) Remember that when Jesus walked on the
earth as a human, He and his countrymen were living under the
oppression of the Roman army and Caesar the dictator. Paul lived and
wrote under the heal of such corrupt dictators as Nero and Caligula.
The Israelites were taxed without representation and they lived under
martial law. Consider what Jesus told His followers to do about such
corrupt, terrorizing, coercing and violent governments - Hindu, Moslem,
Communist - and their agents:
******Mat 5:43* ¶ You have heard that it was
said--'Thou shalt love thy neighbor and hate thy enemy.' 44 I, however,
say to you--Love your enemies [including oppressive Roman or Nazi
soldiers, Nero or Hitler], and pray for those who persecute you, 45
That you may become Sons of your Father who is in Heaven; for he causes
his sun to rise upon bad and good alike, and sends rain upon the
righteous and upon the unrighteous. 46 For, if you love only those who
love you, what reward will you have? Even the tax-gatherers do this! 47
And, if you show courtesy to your brothers only, what are you doing
more than others? Even the Gentiles do this! 48 You, then, must become
perfect--as your heavenly Father is perfect.TCNT
******1 Tim 2: 1* ¶ I exhort therefore, first
of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings be
made for all men [including oppressive Roman soldiers]; 2 for kings
[like Nero, Caligula or Hitler] and all that are in dignity, that we
may lead a quiet and tranquil life in all piety and gravity; 3 for this
is good and acceptable before our Saviour God, 4 who desires that all
men [including Nero or Hitler] should be saved and come to the
knowledge of the truth.
******Rom 13:1 * ¶ Every one should obey the
governing Authorities [including the oppressive
Romans]. For no Authority [including Nero and Hitler] exists except by
the will of God, and the existing Authorities have been appointed by
God. 2* Therefore he who sets himself against the authorities is
resisting God's appointment, and those who resist will bring a
judgement upon themselves. 3* A good action has nothing to fear from
Rulers; a bad action has. Do you want to have no reason to fear the
Authorities? Then do what is good, and you will win their praise. 4*
For they are God's servants appointed for your good. But, if you do
what is wrong, you may well be afraid; for the sword they carry is not
without meaning! They are God's servants to inflict his punishments on
those who do wrong. 5* You are bound, therefore, to obey, not only
through fear of God's punishments, but also as a matter of conscience.
6 This, too, is the reason for your paying taxes; for the officials are
God's officers, devoting themselves to this special work. TCNT

+++Jesus clearly told His followers to do no
corruption, terrorizing, coercing and violence toward friend or foe.
Jesus clearly taught here that the only one who has the right to use a
weapon to get anyone to do anything is an official agent of the
governing authorities, of the rulers of the land, of the government.
Those who are not official agents of the governing authorities, of the
rulers of the land, of the government, and use weapons or violence
against others to do their own will on others are not true followers or
disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. Please note that the disciples of
Christ are instructed to obey the people in authority over them, those
who have and exercise their rules over them, those who bear weapons to
punish those who do not obey their rulers' rules.  They are not
instructed to obey the governing authorities who do not have
and exercise their rules over them, those who do not bear weapons to
punish those who do not obey the rules over them. 

+++In the USA - Japan war, the citizens of Iwo Jima were under command
to obey those who had the rule over them, so when the Japanese had the
rule over them, bore weapons to punish those who disobeyed their rules,
they were instructed to obey the Japanese governing authorities; but
when the Americans had the rule over them, bearing weapons to punish
those who disobeyed their rules, they were instructed to obey the
American authorities. In the American Civil War, the disciples of
Christ in Charlottesville, Virginia, were under
command to obey those who had the rule over them, so when
the Confederates had the rule over them, bore weapons to punish those
who
disobeyed their rules, they were instructed to obey the Confederates'
governing authorities; but when the Yankees had the rule over them,
bearing weapons to punish those who disobeyed their rules, they were
instructed to obey the Yankee authorities. The disciples of Christ are
instructed to obey the authorities who are actually governing them, not
those who claim to be governing them but actually aren't. In the
American Revolution against Britain for breaking the civil contract
between them, the disciples of Christ in Boston were instructed to obey
the British when they were the weapon bearing authorities imposing
their rules on them, but when the American forces were the weapon
bearing authorities over them, the disciples of Christ were instructed
to obey the American authorities. In America today, the disciples of
Christ are instructed to obey the Federal government when it has
supreme jurisdiction over them, and to obey the State government when
it has the supreme jurisdiction over them, under the rule of the
Constitution.
Bill of Rights: "Amendment X
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor
prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states
respectively, or to the people."

What is Christ's Way, as opposed to
"Christianity's" way? How do people live Christ's Way?
******Mt 10:16 Behold, I send you out as sheep
in the midst of wolves. Therefore be as wise as serpents and as
harmless as doves.
******Mat 25:34* Then the King will say to
those on his right 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, enter upon
possession of the Kingdom prepared for you ever since the beginning of
the world. 35 For, when I was hungry, you gave me food; when I was
thirsty, you gave me drink; when I was a stranger, you took me to your
homes; 36 When I was naked, you clothed me; when I fell ill, you
visited me; and when I was in prison, you came to me.' 37 Then the
Righteous will answer 'Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you?
Or thirsty, and give you a drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger,
and take you to our homes? Or naked, and clothe you? 39 When did we see
you ill, or in prison, and come to you?' 40* And the King will reply 'I
tell you, as often as you did it to one of these my Brothers, however
lowly, you did it to me.'TCNT
******Isa 58:6 Is not this the fast which I
have chosen:
     To break loose the
bands and chains of wickedness,
      Releasing those
unjustly bound;
      To undo and
shake off the burdens and ropes of the yoke/oppression/bondage;
      And to send out
free the oppressed,
      And you break,
draw and tear off every yoke/oppression/bondage?
7      Is it not to
share and deal your bread/food to the hungry,
      And bring home
the mourning, poor,  needy and homeless wanderers;
      And when you see
the naked, clothe and cover him,
      And from your
own flesh/kin, don't  hide yourself.
       Fulfilling
your duty to your kin? . . .
9     . . .  If 
you remove from among you the yoke/oppression/bondage,
       The
putting forth of the finger, the unjust speech,
       False
accusation, slander, finger-pointing, and malicious talk;
10   And do generously bring out food
to the hungry  soul,
      And do satisfy
the afflicted soul,
      Meeting the
needs of the troubled person; then shall thy light rise in the
darkness, and thine obscurity be as midday; 11 and Jehovah will guide
thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and strengthen thy
bones; and thou shalt be like a watered garden,   YLT, Darby,

******1Cor 13: 4* ¶ Love is long-suffering, and
kind; Love is never envious, never boastful, never conceited, never
behaves unbecomingly; 5 Love is never self-seeking, never provoked,
never reckons up her wrongs; 6 Love never rejoices at evil, but
rejoices in the triumph of Truth; 7 Love bears with all things, every
trustful, ever hopeful, ever patient.
******Php 2:15* so that you may be blameless
and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a
crooked and perverse nation. Among these you shine as lights in the
world, . . .

+++So Jesus showed us that their is no
contradiction between kindly exposing and rebuking the depraved and
their sin, while at the same time praying for them  and
unselfishly and compassionately cherishing them with His Love. 
Luke 6:27-37 etc show clearly that while we are to kindly rebuke and
warn the depraved sinners and deeds, we are to actively love the evil
doers by behaving towards them in a manner that is patient, kind,
envy-free, jealousy-free, advancing their godly interests, assertive
for their godly needs, seeking their godly benefit, boastful of any
good about them, humbly recognizing and accepting their limitations;
behaving well, angry at evil but patient with weakness, forgiving
wrongs done to me, rejoicing in truth and merciful justice together,
standing up and speaking out together for merciful justice and truth;
giving drink to the thirsty evil doers, meeting the needs of the
homeless evil doers, clothing those evil doers who are inadequately
clothed, visiting and comforting the sick evil doers, visiting and
comforting Jesus believers who are in prison/jail, loosening the bands
of wickedness that bind evil people, undoing the heavy burdens of
sin/grief/loss/pain/suffering that evil people are bearing, letting the
oppressed ones go free from that which has enslaved and addicted
them,  breaking every yoke by which evil people are kept in
subjection to sin and evil, feeding the hungry, finding housing for the
wandering poor, clothing those inadequately clothed, caring for your
own relatives,  working at removing the oppressive and enslaving
yoke that is on those around you, ceasing from accusing and/or
slandering others, feeding the hungry, and caring for and comforting
those who are afflicted and suffering, and being careful not to waste
the eternal Life Jesus has given you by ungodly/foolish/empty/worthless
talk. (Isa 58;Mat 25)

So in the light of the above, what about this
alleged Christian corruption, terrorism, coercion and violence?

>>>" It is true that Christian
missionaries have brought education and civic amenities into this
region. However, as in many parts of the world, Christianity has wiped
out a whole way of life, erasing centuries of tradition, customs and
wisdom. It has caused people to hold their own religion in contempt and
look westwards to an alien culture. It has disrupted society by pitting
the Christian converts against mainstream 'Hindu' India."

Hinduism supports and maintains one of the most
oppressive and destructive forms of racism and ethnic class oppression
in the world today. The oppression and exploitation of the  true
Christians, untouchables, widows and orphans is a disgrace to all
mankind. As to the centuries of tradition, customs and wisdom that
endorsed and established such oppression, what characterized it for the
oppressed?
******Rom 1:22 Professing to be wise, they
showed themselves fools; 23 And they transformed the Glory of the
immortal God into the likeness of mortal man, and of birds, and beasts,
and reptiles. 24* Therefore God abandoned them to impurity, letting
them follow the cravings of their hearts, till they dishonored their
own bodies; 25 For they had substituted a lie for the truth about God,
and had reverenced and worshiped created things more than the Creator,
who is to be praised for ever. Amen. 26* That, I say, is why God
abandoned them to degrading passions. Even the women among them
perverted the natural use of their bodies to the unnatural; 27* While
the men, disregarding that for which women were intended by nature,
were consumed with passion for one another. Men indulged in vile
practices with men, and incurred in their own persons the inevitable
penalty for their perverseness. 28* Then, as they would not keep God
before their minds, God abandoned them to depraved thoughts, so that
they did all kinds of shameful things. 29 They reveled in every form of
wickedness, evil, greed, vice. Their lives were full of envy, murder,
quarreling, treachery, malice. 30* They became back-biters, slanderers,
impious, insolent, boastful. They devised new sins. They disobeyed
their parents. 31* They were undiscerning, untrustworthy, without
natural affection or pity. 32* Well aware of God's decree, that those
who do such things deserve to die, not only are they guilty of them
themselves, but they even applaud those who do them. TCNT

>>>" Today, Christian terrorists feel
emboldened to use the gun to force Jesus down the throats of unwilling
tribals."
++++++From the Words of Jesus above instructing
His followers to be harmless, kind and loving to their neighbors and
enemies we know that no true follower of Jesus would use a gun to force
Jesus down anyone's throat.

>>>"Christian missionaries virtually
held a license during British Raj to trade in human souls and to
proselytize by force, fraud, inducement and deceit."
++++++The true followers of Jesus speak the
truth and do no fraud or deceit.
******Eph 4:25 Since, therefore, you have cast
off what is false, 'you must every one of you speak the truth to your
neighbors.' For we are united to one another like the parts of a body.

 >>>"2) Theological deceit:
Missionaries have spread the belief that the tribals of North East
India had no religion."
+++Not the Christ obeying missionaries I know
of, like Amy Carmichael, her associates, and Hyde of Inida

>>>"4) Education: The introduction of
Western education was the main missionary approach to convert the Naga
into Christianity. . . . The key to their success was their educational
policy. Father Thomas Menamparambil writes: "The boarding houses in
Shillong, Gauhati and Dibrugarh have played an important role in the
evangelization of the region. They formed lay leaders and
well-instructed religious teachers."
+++In the modern world of today with its TVs,
radios, newspapers and the internet an education that did not include
information about the West and its language would fail to prepare the
learners for life today.

>>> "5) Imposition of Roman script:
The first thing that missionaries did when beginning work among a new
tribe was to reduce its language to writing. This the missionaries did
to enable people to read the Bible. . . . The imposition of the Roman
script has on occasion been at gunpoint."
+++Obviously if the tribe's language was not
already in written form, the tribe was illiterate even in its own
language. Since the Hindus evidently had no desire to bring literacy to
the tribe, at least those calling themselves Christians desired to
bring literacy to the tribe. As we see from Jesus Words above, no true
and "harmless" follower of Jesus would point a gun at  anyone to
get them to do anything.

>>>"6) Self–alienation: The tribals
after conversion to Christianity start abstaining from their indigenous
festivals because now these festivals and rituals are not his. Hence we
see the Christian Khasis of Meghalaya do not take part in the
Sad–Suk–Mynstem festival or the Nongkrem festival. . . . They remain
aloof from their traditional dances, accept western names for their
children, start wearing western clothes, sing western music and so on."
+++The followers of Jesus would obviously want
to abstain from such festivals  since most of these festivals
involved the following: sexual immorality, impurity, indecency,
idolatry, sorcery, quarrels, strife, jealousy, outbursts of passion,
rivalries, dissensions, divisions, feelings of envy, drunkenness,
revelry, and the like. Gal 5:19-21

>>>"Gradually and stealthily, they
gained entry into Arunachal Pradesh with the help of the few local
Arunachali students who had studied in Christian Missionary schools is
Assam and Meghalaya and got converted there.  . . . But a sizeable
number of simple people of Arunachal had been lured away into Christian
fold, in many causes, through material temptations including offer of
money, and by threats. The Church has also engaged a number of local
people as paid agents to carry on pro-Christian propaganda through
various means, fair and foul."
******Ro 12:17 Never return injury for injury.
Aim at doing what all men will recognize as honorable.
******Ro 12:17 recompensing to no one evil for
evil: providing things honest before all men:
+++Having been commanded by Jesus to do what
all men will recognize as honorable, providing things honest before all
men, a true disciple of Jesus would not do anything stelathily, not
lure or tempt people, not use fould means. The true and harmles
disciples of Jesus would not threaten anyone.
******Eph 6:7 serving with good will as to the
Lord, and not to men; 8 knowing that whatever good each shall do, this
he shall receive of the Lord, whether bond or free.9 And masters, treat
your slaves in the same spirit. Give up threatening them; for you know
that he who is both their Master and yours is in Heaven, and that
before him there is no distinction of rank.

>>>"8) Harassment and ostracism: Many
reports have come of how Church congregations use harassment, ostracism
and other forms of force to increase their flock."
+++From Jesus' Words above it can clearly be
seen that no true and obediently harmless disciple of  Jesus would
harass or ostracise anyone.

>>>" 9) Extortion: The National
Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN), a terrorist organization has two
main factions. Both the factions are headed by Christians and get
financial support from World Council of Churches, a missionary
organization. . . "
+++From Jesus' Words above it can clearly be
seen that no true and obediently harmless disciple of  Jesus would
terrorize anyone.

>>>"10) Conversion at gun–point: The
Baptist Church in Tripura . . . won only a few thousand converts until
1980 when a mass scale ethnic riot was engineered by the Church in
which systematic ethnic cleansing of Hindu and Buddhist tribals was
initiated. Thousands of women were raped and kidnapped and forced to
convert to Christianity. The terrorists receive military aid from
extremist Christian groups in Australia and New Zealand."
+++According to http://www.wwrn.org/article.php?idd=10988&sec=21&cont=4,
it was the Baptists of Tripura India who were attacked and
presecuted.  According to ttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baptist_Church_of_Tripura,
since the 1960s the New Zealand Baptist Missionary Society has not
supported or funded Tripura's Baptist Church, which "has become an
independent indigeneous and self supporting church. . . The TBCU has
affiliations to the Asian Baptist Federation [1] and the Baptist World
Alliance." The Hindu government is making these allegations, which
can't be believed until they are confirmed by an impartial, unbiased
and reputable source. Beyond that Jesus' Words above show us that no
true and obediently harmless disciple of  Jesus would terrorize
anyone with guns, riot, rape, kidnap or force anyone to convert.

>>>"In Tripura, the tribals constitute
30 percent of the State population, and 10 percent of this group had
been converted to Christianity by 1991. These Christianized tribals are
trying to convert the Hindu tribals forcibly to Christianity often
getting the help of the National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT), a
Christian terror group founded in December 1989. About 90 percent of
the top ranking NLFT cadres are Christians. . . . Since its inception
the NLFT has been engaged in an armed struggle to carve out a separate
Christian nation – Tripura. The forcible conversions are accompanied by
murders of Hindu priests in the area, forcible bans on Hindu
festivities, abductions and killings."
+++Jesus' Words above show us that no true and
obediently harmless disciple of  Jesus would not murder anyone or
terrorize anyone with force, guns, riot, rape, kidnap or force anyone
to convert.

>>>"The backing of the Baptist church
right from the beginning has enabled this organization to spread its
base. Due to its terrorist activities, the organization was banned by
the government in 1997 but it continued its operations from across the
Bangladesh border. The priests of the Baptist church supply arms and
ammunitions to these terrorist rebels."
+++Jesus' Words above show us that no true and
obediently harmless disciple of  Jesus would support, aid and abet
terrorist activities or supply arms and ammunitions to these
terrorists. Jesus' true disciples would have nothing to do with such
evil doers, and would expose them and their evil.
****** Eph 5:6 Do not let any one deceive you
with specious arguments. Those are the sins that bring down the Wrath
of God upon the disobedient. 7* Therefore have nothing to do with such
people. . . . 10 Always trying to find out what is pleasing to the
Lord. 11* Take no part in deeds of Darkness, from which no good can
come; on the contrary, expose them. 12 It is degrading even to speak of
the things continually done by them in secret.. .

 >>>"Hence, it is no wonder that
the NLFT has made Jamatiya institutions and their religious leaders the
targets of their attacks. In the August of 2000, religious leaders of
the Jamatiya community like Jaulushmoni Jamatiya and Shanit Kumar
Tripura were killed by the NLFT, and Jamatiya families were uprooted
from their homelands and made refugees. The death threats issued by the
NLFT to the inmates of these institutions have already forced the
closure of 11 Jamatiya institutions like schools and orphanages, set up
by the slain religious leaders in various parts of Tripura. "
+++Jesus' Words above show us
that no true and obediently harmless disciple of  Jesus would
murder or threaten anyone. Jesus' true disciples would have nothing to
